Editorial Standards
Last Updated: August 28, 2026
Wanderin' Studio isn't interested in pretending to know everything.
It is interested in asking questions, finding original sources, documenting what can be verified, and being clear with readers about what cannot.
Facts, Experiences & Opinions
Whenever reasonably possible, Wanderin' Studio distinguishes between:
Documented facts supported by reliable sources or public records;
Firsthand experiences based on what I personally encountered or observed; and
Opinion or analysis representing my interpretation, questions, or perspective.
Personal experience will not intentionally be presented as proof that everyone has experienced the same thing.
Sources
For investigative, consumer, government, or community-related articles, preference is given to original and authoritative sources whenever reasonably available, including government agencies, public records, regulatory filings, official documents, court records, company materials, and direct statements.
Secondary sources may also be used when they provide useful context.
Sources may be linked or identified so readers can examine the information themselves.
Asking Questions Isn't Making an Accusation
Some Wanderin' Studio stories begin because something doesn't make sense.
Asking where money went, how a program operates, who is responsible, whether a process is working, or why information isn't publicly available does not by itself establish misconduct.
When evidence supports a conclusion, I'll explain the evidence.
When something remains unanswered, I'll say it's unanswered.
Corrections & Updates
If I get something materially wrong, I want to know.
Reliable corrections can be submitted through the Contact Wanderin' Studio page.
When appropriate, published content may be corrected or updated to reflect new information.
Privacy
Wanderin' Studio may invite readers to share experiences, tips, documents, or information related to stories.
Readers should never submit Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, banking information, full dates of birth, or other unnecessary sensitive information through the site's general contact form.
Personal information will not intentionally be published simply because someone submitted it.
Independence
Opinions expressed on Wanderin' Studio are my own unless clearly attributed to someone else.
Advertising, affiliate relationships, sponsorships, products, or business relationships do not purchase favorable editorial coverage.
If a relevant financial or business relationship exists that readers should know about, I will make reasonable efforts to disclose it.
The Standard Is Simple
Ask the question. Find the source. Show the receipts. Separate fact from opinion. Correct mistakes. Keep wanderin'.
